Managing Clients
Minorank Platform is built around the concept of clients — each client is an isolated workspace with its own data, integrations, WordPress sites, and reports. You can add as many clients as your plan allows and switch between them instantly.
Adding a client
- From the Workspace Dashboard, click Add client.
- Fill in the client details:
- Name — the client's name or business name (used throughout the UI and in reports)
- Website URL — the primary domain (e.g.
https://example.com) - Logo — optional, displayed in the client switcher for quick identification
- Timezone — used for daily data windows and report date ranges
- Click Create client.
The client workspace opens automatically and you're ready to connect integrations.
Client switcher
The client switcher is the dropdown at the top of the sidebar. Click it to see all your clients and switch instantly. Each client retains its own independent state — switching clients never affects another client's data or settings.
:::tip Agency tip Name your clients clearly (e.g. "Acme Corp" rather than "Client 1") and upload logos — the visual switcher saves time when managing 10+ clients. :::
Client settings
Open a client's settings via Settings → Client settings in the sidebar.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The client display name — appears in reports and the switcher |
| Website URL | Primary domain — used as the default when generating reports |
| Logo | Shown in the client switcher and on exported reports |
| Timezone | Affects how daily data windows are calculated |
| Report branding | Override with client-specific branding for white-label reports |
Managing multiple WordPress sites
Each client can have more than one WordPress site — useful for clients with multiple domains, regional sites, or a main site plus a blog.
To add an additional site:
- Go to Settings → Sites.
- Click Add site.
- Enter the WordPress site URL and an optional label.
- Follow the prompts to install the Minorank plugin and enter the API key.
All sites for a client appear in the WordPress SEO section of the sidebar, allowing you to manage meta tags, redirections, and 404s across every site from one place.
Archiving a client
If a client relationship ends, you can archive rather than delete to preserve historical data.
- Go to Settings → Client settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Archive client.
- Confirm the action.
Archived clients are hidden from the main switcher but accessible via Workspace settings → Archived clients. All data is retained and the client can be restored at any time.
:::warning Deleting a client Deleting a client permanently removes all data — reports, keywords, competitor history, and integrations. This action cannot be undone. Archive instead if you might need the data later. :::
Client dashboard overview
The client dashboard is the first screen after switching to a client. It shows a high-level summary:
- KPI cards — total clicks, impressions, average CTR, and average position for the current period vs the previous period
- Traffic trend chart — 16-month view of clicks and impressions
- Top 5 queries — keywords sending the most traffic
- Top 5 pages — URLs receiving the most clicks
- Recent alerts — any triggered Slack or email alerts
- Setup checklist — remaining onboarding steps (disappears once complete)
