Bulk SEO Editor
The Bulk SEO Editor lets you edit the SEO Title, Meta Description, and Focus Keyword for many items at once, without opening each post or term individually. Changes save on blur (press Enter or click away from a field) and the SEO Score updates immediately.
Accessing the Bulk Editor
Go to Minorank SEO → Bulk Editor in the WordPress admin menu.
Filtering
Use the filters at the top to narrow down what you're editing:
| Filter | Options |
|---|---|
| Post type / Taxonomy | All post types, posts, pages, products, custom post types, categories, tags, product categories, and any other registered taxonomy |
| Score | All scores, Good (70–100), Needs Improvement (40–69), Poor (0–39), No keyword |
| Search | Filter by title |
The item count updates as you type in the search field.
Editing fields
Each item shows three editable fields:
- SEO Title, falls back to the post/term title when empty
- Meta Description, falls back to the excerpt or term description when empty
- Focus Keyword, used for scoring; multiple keywords not supported in the Bulk Editor (use the meta box for multi-keyword posts)
Click into any field, edit it, then press Enter or click away. The save happens automatically, no submit button. The SEO Score badge on that row updates right after saving.
You can also toggle Noindex per item from the checkbox at the top-right of each row.
SEO Score in the Bulk Editor
Each row shows a colour-coded SEO Score badge:
| Colour | Score |
|---|---|
| Green | 70–100 (Good) |
| Yellow | 40–69 (Needs Improvement) |
| Red | 0–39 (Poor) |
| Grey | No keyword set |
For posts and pages, the score is computed against the post content. For taxonomy terms, it is computed against the term's description field.
Tips
- Sort by score to prioritise the weakest content first.
- Use the "Poor" filter to focus on items that need the most work.
- The Bulk Editor is the fastest way to add missing meta descriptions site-wide.
